Winnipeg, October 2005
The problem with humans is that we are driven by small immediate gratifications, rather than lasting long term rewards. It makes it hard for us to act in a way that is beneficial to the world around us.
The more you learn, the more you realize how much more there is to know, and I find it hard to grasp the idea of a being that would be able to know everything there is to know in the entire universe and beyond.
Is that when you would see that there is no knowledge? That reality is just a word we invented to make ourselves feel more comfortable? And the more effort you put into knowing, the more you don't know, but this is somehow getting closer to the truth.

My Stepbrother
I'm back in Winnipeg and am reunited with my stepbrother, Louis. He doesn't seem to remember me, and barely turns his head when I speak his name, even when I brought him back two new stylish outfits from Korea.
My family adores him, despite the fact that he has a high pitched bark and snarls at babies.
